I felt like a hamster on a treadmill; I was running very hard to stay in the same place. Although I was my own boss, writing articles was just a job. I wrote, or I starved.

It took me a long, long time to see that there's a huge difference between a JOB, and a business.

Writing as a job versus writing as a business

I love writing. However, at a certain point, you realize that there's only a limited amount of writing you can do in a day.

Around five years ago, I realized that as long as I focused on writing articles and more articles, my income had a ceiling.

That's when I began to hire other writers to write articles.

The writers are happy. They have an income. I'm happy, because I can write what I want to write, and I can take time off whenever I like. There's no ceiling on my income.

These days, I spend around four hours a day writing. I start early, and by 9AM, my writing's done for the day. I can spend the rest of the day doing business chores, and having fun.
